The New Home Company Reintroduces Distinctive, Walkable Designs in the Most Desirable Part of Irvine

IRVINE, Calif. (Oct. 18, 2010) – Four Quartets – the distinctive collection of townhomes and flats within the highly acclaimed village of Woodbury in Irvine – are now available at reduced pricing. The New Home Company has reintroduced these homes at prices below the original offering. With four innovative floorplans – including one single-level design – Four Quartets provides intimate living spaces for a wide range of residents, from empty nesters to young professionals.

Situated in Woodbury’s northeast quadrant, the homes at Four Quartets offer a unique combination of row townhomes and flats in a pedestrian-friendly village atmosphere. Individual floorplans range from 1,132 to 1,745 square-feet, and include up to three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths. Homes at Four Quartets begin in the high $300,000s.

“This is incredibly attractive pricing for incredibly smart living, inside and out,” said Joan Marcus-Colvin, Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Design for The New Home Company. “Inside, the homes of Four Quartets offers comfortable seclusion. Outside, they connect quickly to everything, literally steps from the restaurants and shops at The Commons. Here, you’re at the center of everything.”

Four Quartets architect, Gene Kiyotoki of Robert Hidey Architects, said, “Our goal was to create homes that lived well next to each other without disturbing the individuals within each residence, with special attention paid to each design detail. At Four Quartets, we’ve made townhome living feel like simple, luxury living.”

Each of the four residences at Four Quartets features at least two bedrooms. Some offer three bedrooms or the option of converting a bedroom to a loft or second-floor retreat. Another features a ground-floor, single-level design with two bedrooms; a formal entry welcomes residents with a spacious living area to the left, the first bedroom to the right and a roomy master bedroom and bath down the hall. Private, individual entries welcome residents into every Four Quartets home.

All Four Quartets homes are within walking distance to The Commons, Woodbury’s 30-acre central community green. The Commons – divided into 9.2-acres of recreation center, 10.8-acres of parks and a 10-acre elementary school – features athletic fields, a tot lot and swimming pool. Residents will also find entertainment at Woodbury’s new retail center, which features more than 430,000 square feet of new shops and restaurants. Other nearby entertainment includes The Irvine Spectrum, Northwood Community Park and Barclay’s Theatre.

Woodbury was named Masterplanned Community of the Year by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) for its innovative approach to creating a walkable, comprehensive social environment. Irvine was recently rated by the FBI as #1 Safest City in the United States with a population over 100,000. The city’s schools are also a benchmark for excellence; the Irvine Unified School District oversees several California Distinguished Schools.

Four Quartets is built by The New Home Company, founded by industry leaders who are passionate about advancing the cause of homebuilding. Alone among all other builders, The New Home Company is able to pass along to buyers its wealth of relationships within the industry, and its vision for how people live today.

We aim to offer the best homes, with the best architecture, in the best communities, at the best price. At Four Quartets, every detail is rich with expression, and all aspects of the home are designed to meet our buyers’ lifestyles.”
