AJ Jarvis, President, TNHC Land. Andrew J Jarvis serves as President of TNHC Land. This includes sourcing and controlling new land opportunities, conducting land feasibility and underwriting, and directing the firm’s planning and entitlement efforts. Jarvis’ homebuilding experience includes a diverse range of product types – from single-family detached to multi-family podium and Type I high rise – which prepares him for The New Home Company’s goal of artfully matching home designs with lifestyles. His projects have accounted for more than 70 national architectural and land-planning awards, including seven MAME Community of the Year and four PCBC Gold Nugget Project-of-the-Year and Home-of-the-Year honors. Jarvis was most recently Vice President, Land Acquisition for EJL Homes, and before that served as Vice President of Land Acquisition and Development for Laing Luxury, the luxury homebuilding division of John Laing Homes. There his major responsibilities included strategic planning, land acquisition, feasibility, entitlements, land planning, engineering, product development and project-management supervision. Prior to this, Jarvis worked for nine years with Taylor Woodrow Homes of Southern California in acquisitions and development where he was Vice President of Land and Planning, focusing on luxury attached and detached housing. In addition to his acquisitions and homebuilding development role at Taylor Woodrow, he directed the land-development operations for several master-planned communities.
