Mark Kawanami, Senior Vice President. Mark serves as Senior Vice President for The New Home Company. In addition to his primary responsibilities in finance, treasury and accounting, he also oversees human resources and information technology for the company. Previously, Mark was Vice President of Finance for John Laing Homes’ corporate headquarters where he was responsible for managing the placement of debt and equity financing for Laing’s land acquisition, site development and construction activities. Mark has 20 years of experience in the homebuilding industry and has held positions with Greystone Homes, California Pacific Homes and Woodcrest Development. Mark earned his CPA while with KPMG in Los Angeles.
