Joan Marcus-Colvin, Senior Vice President Sales, Marketing & Design. Joan currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Design for The New Home Company. She directs all marketing efforts, sales management and design studio operations and is responsible for brand management throughout the organization. Joan conducts market and consumer research and assists in the company’s product and community development efforts. She holds the company’s California brokers license. Prior to joining The New Home Company, Joan led the interior design team of a Dubai-based international developer. Before that, Joan was Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Design for Laing Luxury, the luxury homebuilding division of John Laing Homes. During her tenure, Joan managed over $1 billion in sales of residential properties throughout Southern California. In her twenty-plus years in the homebuilding industry, Joan has served other top builders including Brookfield Homes and Taylor Woodrow Homes. She currently serves on the Executive Committee of the BIA/OC Board of Directors, the Greater Sales & Marketing Council Board of Directors and the California Homebuilding Foundation Board of Trustees. Joan was named the 2012 honoree of the B.J. Stewart Women’s Achievement Award.
