Joan Marcus-Colvin, Vice President Sales, Marketing & Design. Joan currently serves as the Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Design for The New Home Company. She directs all marketing efforts, sales management and design studio operations and is responsible for brand management throughout the organization. Joan conducts market and consumer research and assists in the company’s product and community development efforts. Prior to joining The New Home Company, Joan led the interior design team of a Dubai-based international developer. Before that, Joan was Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Design for Laing Luxury, the luxury homebuilding division of John Laing Homes. During her tenure, Joan managed over $1 billion in sales of residential properties throughout Southern California. In her twenty plus years in the homebuilding industry, Joan has served other top builders including Brookfield Homes and Taylor Woodrow Homes. Joan currently serves on the Executive Committee of the BIA/OC Board of Directors, the Greater Sales & Marketing Council Board of Directors and has recently been named to the California Homebuilding Foundation Board of Trustees. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles and lives in Ladera Ranch with her husband and two daughters.
