The New Home Company Opens On-Site Sales Gallery and Begins Previewing Luxury Residences at Mountain Shadows Resort in Paradise Valley

PARADISE VALLEY, Ariz. (September 16, 2016) – With construction underway and interest growing, The New Home Company (NEW HOME, NYSE: NWHM) today announced the opening of an on-site sales gallery and the previewing of its luxury residences at Mountain Shadows Resort in Paradise Valley, Arizona.

Mountain Shadows is the newest community of resort residences to be built in Paradise Valley, the affluent town located between Phoenix and Scottsdale that is surrounded by the iconic Camelback and Mummy Mountains. Mountain Shadows represents NEW HOME’s initial offering in the Phoenix market. The Company, which was recently named the second-fastest growing public homebuilder in the United States and the most active luxury homebuilder in Orange County, Calif., announced the opening of its Arizona division in early 2016.

Mountain Shadows consists of 14 luxury detached homes (The Residences) and 52 single-story flats (The Villas), ranging from approximately 2,500 to 4,000 square feet, with all homeowners having full access to resort amenities including golf, health and wellness facilities, hiking trails and dining. The homes reflect modern and mid-century design interpretations with streamlined styling, dramatic levered roof lines, natural and urban textures, open floor plans and outdoor living spaces that take advantage of the surrounding mountain and desert views.

Mountain Shadows Resort is expected to re-open in early 2017 and will be anchored by a signature pool and hotel with 180 rooms, meeting and event spaces and a unique 18-hole, Executive Par-3 Golf Course with scenic views and regulation-sized greens. The resort will include a three-story luxury wing with 42 condominiums and lofts available for purchase.

“Mountain Shadows is situated in one of the most ideal locations in all of Arizona, so to have the opportunity to create the first homes of their kind in Paradise Valley is special,” said Pat Moroney, NEW HOME Arizona Division President. “Those who visit our now open on-site sales gallery will see that we’ve put the utmost thought and care into the design of these homes to optimize unparalleled mountain views and offer the finest in luxury resort living. It’s an exciting time to be a part of Mountain Shadows, and we expect to have tremendous success here.”
